About 350 ECB's colleagues came out in the street from 15:00 to 17:00 for a demonstration.
Many newspapers spoke about this event all over Europe, and even in Brasil and Israel. In general terms, the press has referred the SCECBU and our last press communiqué drafted in Roda de Barà. You can also find more information through the interview in "Les Echos", namely our point of view and objectives.
The success of the action organised by IPSO-ECB planned by Adrian Pretty, Emmanuel Larue and Carlos Bowles is, according to me, one of the first steps to the action we could plan together for October.
Up to now, more than 80% of the SCECBU member trade unions have sent the letter of support we proposed to you yesterday and this morning.
The Executive Bureau members had a meeting in Roma today by the time I was in the street with our colleagues from the ECB. They also have sent a support to our colleagues (see annex).
Tonight I will join them in Roma to continue our Executive Bureau meeting, where we will discuss many important future actions and works.
Thank you again for your support. It was really appreciated here in Frankfurt!
Let's keep united!
