Unfortunately the process of reorganisation of the branches in the Central Bank of Poland has not been stopped. It will have impact on 16 branches and it will be connected in 3 stages:
- first stage till the end of November 2008 (with 3 month notice) - 160 people
- second stage till the end of June2009 (with 3 month notice) -117 people
- third stage till the end of October 2009 (with 3 month notice) -58 people
All together 335 employees in 16 branches are concerned, about 17 % of the branch staff within a year.
Some of the branch activities will be transmitted to the head office in Warsaw, some will be reduced and some activities will disappear. The number of branches will not be changed for the time being.
The unions negotiated the level of the amount of money for people, so called "encouragment" for those who can take an advantage of early retiremnent, the "support package" for those who would stay with no work and many other important details.
